Edgefield Clay Studio offers 6  and 8 week classes for adults  and children. If you would like to be on our email mailing list, please email us your address!

Adult classes are for all levels of skill working with clay, from those who have never worked with clay  to those who want to increase  their skills both in handbuilding  and throwing.

Classes are held twice a week for 3 hours and students have access to the studio during all open hours.

Children’s classes move from handbuilding skills to teach the basics of how to handle clay and studio etiquette to wheel throwing.

Each class meets once a week for 2 hours. During this time, the basics of either handbuilding or  throwing on the wheel are taught.

Included in the cost is everything you will need while you are in class (basic pottery tools, buckets, towels, clay, bisque and glaze firing).
